Positive effect if video games on children
According to the most recent made manual by jennifer weller, she believes theres five positive effects that comes from video games. The five positive effects that jennifer believe are
1. Video games help children with reading
She believe that it helps them learn to read because they remember certain buttons on the controller do certain activities
2. Increases a childs eye-hand coordination
Certain video games are hard to play and take alot of eye - hand coordination, she believes that it will help children with athletics
3. Improves children attention to detail
Since window games have the effect to get childrens attention and they want to win she believes that this will make children pay attention to every detail.
4. Easy way to introuduce children to computers
Technology is becoming major factor of everyday life and if children start to play video games then they will have a better understanding.
This last and final effect i believe is the most important
5. Children gain a sence of accomplishment
Coming up as a child, like other children may have, i had a low self esteem. By kids playing the game and feeling a sence of achievement I believe that this gives children a chance to boost up their self-esteem

M.L.G
Mlg is short for Major league gaming. Mlg is basically a series of tournaments throughout the united states. The positive effects that come from playing in MLG is that people that believe their really the best at most games have the chance to test their skills. Most of the players in fact are collee student so them playing in the tournaments and winning helps them in a mix of ways, including helping them pay for college.
L.A Noir
Just one of many detective games released on the Xbox 360. This game gives gamers the adventure of solving a variety of mysteries. Most people see this game as a mix of grand theft auto and believe it to be violent but just like my last post. This game is rated M for mature so there should be no reason for parents to complain about the content of a game that their children shouldnt be playing

Rated M for mature games
A big majority of the negative reviews about video games come from Rated M for mature games and parents have a big issue when it comes to them. Little do the parents realize is that although these may be games their thirteen - fifteen year olds may want to play, the truth is these games arent MADE FOR THEM. Rated M for mature games are for ages 17+ and the fact that parents are blaming the video game creators for the actions of their thirteen - fifteen years olds is stupid
